Xmas cookies

So one of my best friends invited me to join her to make holiday cookies and a cake. Because of school we have not seen each other in a while so she wanted to do something together. She did most of the work, I was mostly sipping on wine and taking the pics. She started making the Blueberry Crumb Cake from the food network by Barefoot Contessa. It was our first time baking cookies by it turned out pretty good, at least the flavors were there. We baked two different kinds of cookies, one kit was from Crate & Barrel and the second one is a ready to make dough from Pillsbury. We are not giving up, we will try again and I am sure it will be better the next time. So, here goes some pics but at the end mission accomplished, we had an awesome and fun time together which we will always remember.

My Xmas Tree

Finally, the weather kept me inside the house and decided to put up the tree since Xmas is just around the corner.  I still need to place the presents but it will probably be tomorrow. I am not wrapping anything this year I am just going to use gift bags.  Just need one more gift and I am finally done.  I put some of the pics I took and I hope you like them as much as myself.  This is my first blog and first everything so let's see how it comes out.
